Required for all new students

The Vocal Consultation ensures that I am the right teacher for you and that this technique is the right fit for your voice at this time. I often find that more foundational voice lessons are needed and I provide recommendations to excellent classically-based teachers in our area. Most of my students come to me from recommendations from other voice teachers and studios.

The Vocal Consultation begins with you performing for me. This lets me see where you are in your vocal development and how you approach a song. In some cases, I will attend a live performance. After hearing you sing, I do an extensive intake where I find out your complete vocal and educational history, medical history, goals, dreams and professional aspirations. I then explain what I heard, how I can help and what I think would be the best plan of action for you at this time to achieve your goals.
